Sunday May 24th – Giro d’Italia 2026 stage 15: Voghera → Milano (157 km)
Stage 15 is a flat route from Voghera to Milan over 157 kilometres. The stage crosses the Po Valley and includes no categorised climbs. The profile is consistent throughout, with long straight sections and wide roads.
From Voghera the race heads north toward Pavia. The terrain in this phase is entirely flat, with only minor undulations that do not affect the race dynamics. The roads are wide and regular, allowing an early breakaway to establish itself.
After Pavia the profile remains flat on the approach to Milan. The run‑in uses long, straight access roads on the outskirts of the city. Roundabouts and junctions only briefly interrupt the rhythm, without adding technical complexity to the finale.
In the final kilometres the peloton rides along wide city avenues toward the finish in Milan. The approach to the line is straightforward and suited to a traditional bunch sprint.
This stage clearly favours the sprinters. The combination of flat terrain, long straight sections and a week without opportunities for sprinters makes a bunchsprint the most likely outcome.
