Sunday April 12 2026: Paris-Roubaix Femmes - Denain -Roubaix (143.1 km) 

The sixth edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes on Sunday, April 12, is shaping up to be tougher than ever. Over a distance of 143.1 kilometres, the riders will tackle twenty cobbled sectors—three more than in previous years. The race thus gains not only in the total length of pavé but above all in intensity.

Although the women’s route is considerably shorter than the men’s, the proportion of cobblestones is much higher. While the men do not hit the first sectors until after roughly one hundred kilometres, the women are already rattling over the stones after just thirty. Another thirty kilometres later, at Hornaing–Wandignies, both routes merge. From that point onwards, the women race across exactly the same secteurs pavés as the men do earlier in the day.

On average, a new sector appears every six kilometres. The iconic Forest of Arenberg is missing from the women’s race, but Mons-en-Pévèle remains a key obstacle: nearly three kilometres of bone-shaking cobbles. After that sector, some fifty kilometres remain on the road to Roubaix.

The next thirty kilometres feature a dense sequence of sectors: Mérignies–Avelin, Pont-Thibault–Ennevelin, the double Templeuve passages, Cysoing–Bourghelles, Bourghelles–Wannehain, and finally Camphin-en-Pévèle. That last stretch leads directly into the feared Carrefour de l’Arbre—just over two kilometres of treacherously uneven cobbles that often decide the race. Whoever reaches the smooth asphalt there in prime position can start dreaming of the velodrome finish.

In the final fifteen kilometres, three shorter sectors remain. They add character, but little else compared to the brutality that precedes them.

Who will lift the cobblestone trophy this time? Will defending champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot take her second win, or can Lotte Kopecky and Lorena Wiebes turn their team strength into victory?
